We link the two best known and emblematic trails of the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park: Río Majaceite and Pinsapar.

It is a linear path so we have to plan the return from Grazalema. The most practical is the taxi.

We begin the Majaceite River trail in El Bosque, next to the Enmedio Mill, following the path that in the first two kilometers is practically flat. This helps us to warm the muscles, which we will need.

Until you reach Benamahoma (end of this path) the road is a gentle climb with some slopes that are saved with stairs. It runs along the Majaceite River, passing from one shore to another across narrow, very picturesque bridges. You will find beautiful waterfalls and very photogenic corners.

Once we arrive in Benamahoma we can approach a "refueling" stop at the different establishments that you will find in the area. We look for the fish farm and the cemetery that is where the El Pinsapar trail begins (Let's not forget to take the access permit to the trail with you). Here begins the hardest part of the tour. It is an 8 km climb. to the Port of Las Cumbres (1365 m). During this tour we will enjoy spectacular views of the Serranía de Ronda, El Torreón and Llanos de Rabel. From here the descent begins until the end of the tour.

The trail ends at Las Canteras, next to the CA-531 road, about 3 km from Grazalema. There is a parking area and picnic area.

Additional Information:

- The Majaceite River is the southernmost trout river in Europe and there are two fish farms: one in El Bosque and another in Benamahoma, although none is currently in production.

- Its flow rate is constant throughout the year. Keep in mind that this area is the rainiest in the Iberian Peninsula.

- The Pinsapos forest covers about 400 ha. and it is the most extensive in Spain. There are other specimens in the Serranía de Ronda.
